How do I Run for Office?

Nomination Papers must be filed by January 1st or the next day if that Tuesday is a holiday.  When filing nomination papers, you should keep the following in mind:

Pick up copies of your Nomination Papers (EL-169), Declaration of Candidacy (EL-162) and Campaign Registration Statement (ETHCF-1) from the Clerk's office at any time.  Fillable forms are also available on the GAB website http//gab.wi.gov/forms.  The Candidate's Handbook for Local Elections (Your handbook if you want to get on the ballot as a candidate) can be obtained at the Clerk's Office.
