The Amery Economic Development Corporation is in the business of creating business for the greater Amery area, and enhancing Amery's long-term prosperity and quality of life. This means:

- Providing direction and coordination with public agencies and private organizations, and securing resources to promote the economic development of the greater Amery area
- Proactively promoting economic development and improvement of all business conditions, including industrial and commercial development, tourism, job creation / retention, and job training
